This is the first time i use my mini coffee maker! =))

My grandparents came over just now. So i make coffee for them.

Long black for my dad, latte for my mum, green tea latte for me and my sister, and lastly cappuccino for grandparents. I forgot to take photo of the cappuccino. =X

yesterday went out with starhub work friends to catch a movie at Vivo: Thor.
haven't seen them for quite some time. glad we had this outing(:

today, tavin and me bake cake for amanda's birthday~!
tavin came over in the morning and we started to plan.
then started baking! in between got some time so we baked cookies coated with cinnamon sugar.
after that we make our way to school and surprise amanda with the cake during their lunchbreak with agnes, yiren, son, and sufyan.

i had my lunch in school too cause no time to eat before i had to rush for my job interview.
had a really hard time looking for the pet cafe. i am very lucky to have met 3 very nice people who helped me out.
firstly the bus uncle who told me the bus stop to alight. then the guy i saw on the way who lead me halfway (as he was walking in the same way) and gave me directions. and another guy who guide me to the cafe itself cause i couldn't find my way (as the whole kampus is fenced) into the cafe. i am really very grateful to them. if not for them i might be late for my interview.
and also thanks to another nice guy who helped me look for directions online and text me the directions thoughout the last half of my ride when he know i'm seriously lost and needed help.

it was a long walk in from the bus stop to the cafe. but i found it at last!
the interview was okay and i guess i am in already. i really hopes so.
if i did get in, i think i would love my job. =D

i had a great time today! (:
met up with quite a lot of people. my day is sort of fully booked.
breakfast at KFC with kor and judah, lunch had PizzaHut at home.
Popcorns and watched movie, Source Code with eliz, iskandar and tavin.
Dinner at grandma's house, sing at MCC with bk, hc and sj.
then chat chat while they have their dinner at kfc.
having supper now. =P

though tiring to wake up so early and out for almost the whole day, but i love today.
finally feel alive and got people to talk to instead of being stuck at home with nothing to do.
i guess i need more days like this, to keep me occupied and no time to think about other stuffs..

Anyway the movie is really nice. glad we watched that.
it's quite sad, touching and keeps you in suspense. i cried at the last part.
it makes me realised how fragile human life is, and you never know what would happen.

went sushi tei for dinner with family last sunday. ^^

yesterday i made black sesame ice cream!!!
here's the process...

cause i love to eat black sesame ice cream, and will always order it if i went to eat at sushi tei, (plus it's super hard to find this flavour in singapore except in japanese shops) so i tried to recreate one myself. with whatever ingredients i have at home.

it's a random decision, as i'm super bored at home with nothing to do. then i'm hungry and remembered i have black sesame power paste at home, so came this idea of making it(:

i went online and searched for recipe for black sesame ice cream, but all require some ingredients which i do not have. so in the end i re-invent the recipe and just go ahead with it.

when my mum came home, i took out and let my family to try it.

my sister and my mum love it.! my sister said it taste just like the one we ate in sushi tei and my mum said next time no need to go there to eat, can make at home. =D

just that it's abit too sweet. cause it's my first time making ice cream, also without proper ingredients and recipe, so it's abit hard to estimate the sugar level. plus it melts very fast(as you can see in the photo it's already melting halfway) as there is no heavy cream in it, but also means it's a healthier choice. hahs. xP the next time i do i shall not put sugar and add more milk to make it less thick and stay frozen longer.! =)

i guess sometimes i really gotta be on my own. can't always expect someone to be there for me. i need to learn. maybe i should start by going to the places i want to visit alone. going to the beach, watch the sea and listen to the waves.. take balloons, go kite flying and run among the flowers.. sit on the grass with a book and some sandwishes.. and alot more... of course it would be nice to have some company, but everyone is tied down to their schedules, work and other stuff. so it's a bit hard i guess..

i went back to school and help up juniors in Modern Dance SYF today.

help them video, tie their hair, make up and such. quite busy till very tired, take bus back school and fall asleep on the table for awhile.

i got to sit at the circle seats to watch them dance. even though i'm not the one on stage but i felt nervous for them too. overall they did a good job(:

i realised how much i miss dancing and performing on stage. remembered all the times during dance, both secondary school and JC. both chinese dance and modern dance. get to try out different dance types. it's a wonderful experience. but i still prefer modern dance to chinese dance. though as long as i get to dance i'm happy. =)

i love dance ttm. think it's in my genes. hahas.

though i'm not a great dancer, but i can try my best and strive to be.

I LOVE SINGING, DANCING AND BAKING!
if only i can do that for life...

such as learn to sing, dance and bake of course.. (ever since i was in kindergarden, not baking yet, but i love to sing and wanted to learn dancing since then)

other than those, i want to learn:

driving - since i sat on my dad car and been telling my dad to let me learn when i grow up.

piano - ever since i was in primary school, but now i'm happy if i can just know a few songs.

ice skating (figure skating) - since secondary 1, but too expensive so i gave that up.

international ballroom dance - no partner (guy friend who are interested) to dance with so also no use.

languages - japanese and french

and many more.

so i can only wish/ wait/ hope..

unless, is anyone willing to teach me? hahs

i finally made my decision and i am so gonna stick to it, stay firm and not look back. =]

wanted to take something from the cupboard then the glass bottle dropped and broke.
i don't remember how but just saw that my finger was dripping blood.

the cut was quite deep. just hope there's no glass particles inside.

accidentally bang my wound against the table just now and it started bleeding again. =(

I have been having headache the past few days.

reason could be due to work which requires staring at the computer all day, or because i think a lot. about the future, what's gonna happen, where to go and stuff. it's really hard making a decision. knowing that it'll somehow affect my life one way or the other.

and meanwhile, amongst those thoughts, it just hit me:
i really don't wanna grow up.

i wanna stay the way it is. having family, friends and the ones you love around you. growing up is hard. you'll definitely lose some treasured friends and love ones along the way.

you got to make serious decision on your own, you gotta be independent. nobody can be always by your side. they're gonna leave one day, eventually..

memories fades. growing up means giving up a part of you, the childish-ness, the carefree you and the freedom you once had. you can't cry over little stuff or else people will think you're childish, you can't laugh all you want as there's always a saddness somewhere within. you also lost the once you who was full of ideas and unlimited imagination. you will miss the times where life doesn't seems that cruel and where you have less to worry about.

I have to be own my own.
I know i gotta stay strong.

just realised that i haven't been posting for about a week. hahs.
been very busy with CNY celebration and also work.
work is alright, though can be super boring ( so people, just text me! xP ).
and i met some new friends there(:
today is my 6th working day in a row. tommorow is the 7th.
really tired coz dun really have sufficent sleep..
woke up with a sore throat today. hope i'm not falling sick. =(
i guess i really gotta sleep early tonight.

went to watch green hornet with hc and jy 2 days ago. it's quite funny. hahs. before that ate dinner tgt with calisa too, and we discuss about the trip! =D

joyce came over yesterday. missed her alot alot. we had a long chat. HTHT. and talk about almost everything. we are sort of "on the same boat" about some stuff.. can't wait for the next time we meet up again. =D

I MISS DANCING! *random-ness* but seriously yes. i wanna dance. hahs!

Did more baking yesterday! made 3 different types of bakery.

went out to celebrate Yi Ren's birthday!
planned and surprised him with a cake in school.
managed to get his classmates to help too.
we're supposed to be there by 6pm but was late, then while we just got on the bus, joyce texted me and said that they ended test already. was super anxious and gotta think of ways to delay things. luckily we rushed there quick enough.
overall it was a success as he was really surprised.
Mission accomplished!
after that we stayed to watch their dance practice for cca fair and went to eat dinner @ NorthPoint.

FURRY DAY! (pledge a dog walk day) ^^

Gentle Paws (animal shelter) had a furry day whereby 30+ volunteers came forward to walk a dog at pasir ris beach today(: Me and Calisa went, gotta wake up at 6am to get there on time.

this is the animal shelter. there's really A LOT of dogs!

this is a place filled with CATS! *jay and noval alert! hahas*

of course, there are much more dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, birds, parrot(a lovely one who said "hello" to us when we walked in), hamsters+little animals (maybe?) then my phone camera can capture. =D

me and cali walk around the beach tgt. as we got two dogs that are best friends.

almost everyone had a dog to his/her own. =)

this is my dog for the day! his name is Darryl. he's quite a big sized dog.

the smallest size they have is about the size of cali's dog, and her name is Diya.

in total there are around 30++ dogs? it's really fun.!

once we get to the beach, they just assigned us a dog each, and the dogs will be in our hands for 3-4hours. we can bring them jog or run around, do anything we want, play with them. it's almost like you're owning the dog. it's really a great experience as i had nv walk a dog on my own before. it's the first time. i treated him like my own dog, and had to be responsible for it. we also had to try to "connect" with the dogs and get them to get used to us. another thing i found out is, it's not that easy to walk a dog. coz Darryl is really strong! me and cali practically had to run to catch up with their strength and speed. they're super active. i dun even have time to grab some snacks to eat. only ate lunch at 2plus 3pm. damn tired and hungry by then. we had a nice workout with the dogs. hahas. overall we really had a great time, i hope the dogs had a fun outing/ walk too(: i'll surely miss them...

after all that, i went huimin's house sing. with colin and alex. =]

then dinner and home sweet home.

my parents went to flower farm and bought back these lovely tulips for me!

celebrated my sister birthday yesterday.

whole family went out to eat dinner. the food is yummy. =)

all DIY including the base plate for the pot.

hope she'll take care of it at boarding school.

YUM YUM!

today i went to my grandma house again to learn cooking from her.

took some photos. but there's more, i forgot to take. =x

learn quite a few new cooking skills(:

and another good thing i like about learning to cook, and watching + helping her to cook is that, at the side i can steal a bite here and there. hehe. too hungry to wait till everything is cooked. :z

esp the fried chicken chop she did today, it's super nice!

and i've learn how to fried it. you will expect the chicken chop to be oily right?

but no! it is crispy on the outside, but inside it is not oily at all! that's the skill. ^^

fruit juice!

after dinner my grandpa cut fruits to make fruit juice. and my grandma made pancakes.

even though i'm full after dinner, but it's really hard to resist the delicious food they made.

erm so i just eat. ate till damn full! no need supper alr. hahs.

had a fun time at my grandparents house. get to see my younger cousins too.

i shall go more often to learn more stuff and eat nice food. xP

awww, my daddy just bought egg tarts home!

oh nooo, i just brushed my teeth and gonna prepare to sleep. humph..

hope they keep some for me then i can eat tmr.

hmmm or should i eat abit now? =P

the whole lot of apple energy bars i baked yesterday, half of it is gone/ given out.
left half! wow it's fast. my mum loves it. she finished those that i put on the shelf. which is quite alot. for one person. hahs.
my cousin loves my cupcakes too! she even asked for more and wants me to bake for her.
gave out to quite alot of ppl. they all really appreciate and like it. i felt very happy that they do, didn't regret giving it to them. =)
shall bake and try new recipies next time. soon! ^^

omg today work is crazy ttm.
i'm being thrown to the front line to fight the battle on my own.
almost died-ed. totally out of breath.
short of ppl so i am the only one left at counter. the customers kept coming.
the line nv stops. it only gets longer. didn't rest at all from 2 to 6pm.
by 4 plus 5 i'm dying already. no strength and aching all over.
in a blur mode and cannot think properly.
damn tired and hungry. almost fainted.
i hope this won't happen again. T_T

Been packing my room for 2 days! i took out everything and rearrange it.
throw out a lot of rubbish like papers and broken stuff.
it's kind of like walking down a memory lane while packing.

these are some of the lovely notes from some lovely peeps. ^^
some from teachers, some from friends.
some are birthday cards, some are just notes(:
some are as old as from primary school times.
really treasured every single one of them.
they remind me of the friends i've made and lost past the years.
the friendship we've once forged.
the encouragements they gave.
the times we had together..
i won't forget...

this is a crystal heart pen holder my grandma gave me a long long time ago.
i really like this. but there's a crack and all the liquid flowed out.
it's broken a few years back, but i can't bear to part with it..
the words on it means something like "hope whatever you wish for will come true".
and i guess to a certain extent it really did. until it's spoilt. =(
if only i can get it back or find a similar one to replace.
maybe i over-believe in it too much, but i really need some luck now..
things haven't been going right recently...
hmmm i finally throw it away today. *sigh*

overall i finished arranging my stuff this afternoon.!
this is the first time i really really go tidy my stuff totally.
my cupboard looked neat and clean now. [happy]

after lunch went over to eliz's house to help her paint her room.
2/3 of it was done, i went to help up with the rest plus touch up abit.
and yes! managed to finish painting her walls today. =]
painting was quite fun. after that her mum ordered pizza for dinner.
we ate, chat, play some games and watch tv together. had a great time there. +_=
